Commitment Coverage Alerts

Commitment coverage alerts notify teams when cloud spend runs uncovered on on-demand pricing, showing the cost impact and how to fix it.

How It Works

Teams compare eligible usage with their target commitment coverage to identify potential savings opportunities while managing underutilization risk. A coverage alert highlights services where coverage is below target, so the team can see which services are running on on-demand pricing and the savings at stake.

How Usage.ai Does It

Usage.ai sends a monthly coverage email highlighting savings opportunities for services where Autopilot is off. The email shows current coverage by service, potential annual savings, and a link to review and enable Autopilot. The Active Commitments dashboard separately displays upcoming expirations, the annual commitment value up for renewal, and changes in portfolio utilization compared with the previous period.
